Privacy Policy

Last updated August 17, 2026

This Privacy Notice for timarifulin tmi ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we may access, collect, store, use, and/or share information when you download and use our mobile application, Linkatory: Save & Organize Links (the "App"), or otherwise contact us.

Linkatory is a native iOS app for saving, organizing, and optionally archiving links. You save URLs into "Collections" or leave them unsorted, and the App fetches publicly available preview information (title, description, thumbnail, author, engagement counts) so links are easier to recognize later. A separate, user-initiated feature can save an offline copy of a page or its media for reading without a network connection.

The short version: Linkatory does not have accounts, does not use analytics or advertising SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not collect your location. Everything you save is stored locally on your device. The only network activity the App performs is fetching the public pages you choose to save, directly from your device to the site in question, so it can show you a preview.

Questions or concerns? If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the App. If you have questions, contact us at petuchcoco@gmail.com.

1. What information do we collect?

Information stored on your device

The links, Collections, notes, tags, and thumbnails you save in the App are stored in a local database on your device, shared only between the App and its Share Extension so that sharing a link from another app works correctly. This data is never transmitted to us. We have no server and no user accounts, so we have no way to see, collect, or store your saved links.

If you use the App's export feature, it creates a JSON file on your device. That file only leaves the App if and when you explicitly send it somewhere using iOS's share sheet — we do not receive a copy.

Information you provide directly to us

If you contact us by email for support or feedback, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that message (typically your email address and the content of your message). We use this only to respond to you.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, precise or approximate location, contacts, photos (beyond what you explicitly choose to attach to a link via the system photo picker, which stays on-device), advertising identifiers, or any device analytics or crash data.

2. How does the App use the internet, and who sees your requests?

When you save a link, the App contacts the website at that URL directly from your device to read its publicly available preview information (for example, its title, description, and thumbnail image) — the same information a web browser would see by visiting the page. If you use the optional offline-saving feature, the App downloads that page's content or media the same way, again directly from your device to the source site.

These requests are made using the App's own identifying information, not on our servers and not through any service we operate. The website you saved will see a request from your device (including your IP address), just as it would if you visited the page in Safari. That site's own privacy policy governs how it handles that request. We do not see, log, or have access to any of this traffic.

For a small number of supported platforms, the App may use that platform's own official public API (for example, Vimeo's API, using our own developer credentials) to retrieve content the creator has explicitly made available for download. This does not identify you to us or to that platform.

3. Do we use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies?

No. The App contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no third-party tracking libraries, and sets no tracking cookies. We do not build a profile of your activity, and we do not know how you use the App beyond what Apple's own aggregated, anonymous App Store analytics may show us if you've opted into sharing those with developers.

4. Do we share your information with anyone?

We have nothing to share, because we don't collect your saved data in the first place. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for advertising or any other commercial purpose, and we have not done so in the past. The only outbound network activity is described in Section 2 above, and it goes directly from your device to the sites you choose to save — not through us.

We may disclose the limited information described in Section 1 (such as a support email) if required to comply with a legal obligation, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to the same commitments in this notice.

5. How long do we keep your information?

Data you save in the App stays on your device until you delete it — we have no copy to retain or delete on our end. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, then deleted.

6. How do we keep your information safe?

Your saved links and related data are protected by standard iOS app sandboxing and stay on your device. Because we do not operate servers or accounts that hold your data, there is no central database of user data for us to secure or that could be breached. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security for the network requests described in Section 2.

7. Do we collect information from minors?

The App is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because the App does not collect personal information in the first place, this risk is minimal. If you believe a child has provided us personal information (for example, via a support email), contact us at petuchcoco@gmail.com and we will delete it.

8. What are your privacy rights?

If you are located in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or Canada, you have rights over any personal information we hold about you, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of it, and to object to or restrict its processing. In practice, the only personal information we are likely to hold is a support email you sent us, since the App itself sends us nothing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11.

Withdrawing consent: where we rely on your consent to process information (for example, to reply to an email), you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us. This won't affect the lawfulness of anything already done.

UK and EEA complaints

If you are in the UK and unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can contact us first at petuchcoco@gmail.com, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, Helpline 0303 123 1113, or by post: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, United Kingdom.

If you are in the EEA, you may also contact your local data protection authority. As we are based in Finland, our lead supervisory authority is the Finnish Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

9. Do United States residents have specific privacy rights?

Residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because the App does not collect any of the categories of personal information listed below, most of these rights are not applicable in practice — but you're welcome to submit a request at any time using the contact details in Section 11, and we will confirm we hold nothing about you beyond any support correspondence.
